Riding Instructor

Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Equestrian Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a strong desire to enhance their coaching skills in horse riding. This role offers the opportunity to work with riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced, in a dynamic and supportive environment. Training, support, and exam guidance will be provided to help you excel in this role.

Duties:

• Provide expert coaching in horse riding to riders of varying skill levels
• Support and guide beginner riders in developing their equestrian skills
• Create engaging and effective training programs tailored to individual rider needs
• Ensure the safety and well-being of both riders and horses during training sessions
• Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all riders

Experience:

• Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly in equestrian disciplines, is highly desirable
• Ability to educate and communicate effectively with riders of different ages and skill levels
• Experience working in a riding school environment is a significant advantage
• Strong riding skills and knowledge of horse behaviour and care are essential

Horse Groom

Job description

Overview:

Join our team as a Horse Groom and be an essential part of our equine care operations. We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for horses to ensure the well-being and maintenance of our horses.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for horses including feeding, grooming, and exercising
• Clean stables, stalls, and equipment regularly to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Assist with basic veterinary care such as administering medications or treatments as directed
• Handle and lead horses safely during turnout, training, or veterinary visits
• Monitor horses for signs of illness or injury and report any concerns to the supervisor
• Maintain records of horse care, feeding schedules, and medical treatments

Skills:

• Strong animal care skills with experience handling horses
• Capable of heavy lifting and physical tasks related to horse care
• Basic math skills for measurements and feed calculations
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed

Exercise Riders

Job description

Overview:

Join our team as an exercise rider and be an essential part of our equine training operations. We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for horses to help us to ensure our horses continued development & training. Suitable candidate must be 9 stone or less.

Skills:

• Strong & confident rider & handler of horses, experienced with young/green horses

• Strong lunging & long reining skills advantageous, but full training can be provided

• Previous backing/starting horses advantageous, but full training can be provided
